What's Up with Kanye West?

Kanye West has recently lost several partnerships with brands such as Adidas and Gap. As the days followed, Kanye West lost a deal with a movie. Many fans have turned their backs on Kanye West since then. Likewise, Kanye has lost several lovers and friends due to hateful rhetoric against certain groups of people. The Chainsmokers even removed a song they made dedicated to Kanye, stating, “This is just not the same guy we loved and were inspired by, which really saddens us. . . I hope he gets his s**** together and stops with this hate rhetoric and bullying before it’s too late.” There is even a conspiracy that Kanye was denied a partnership with Reebok. Above all else, Kanye’s career has seen better days. There is also a recent word on TikTok that Taylor Swift wrote her song ‘Karma’ about Kanye. In one line, in particular, Taylor Swift states, “Cause karma is my boyfriend (karma is my boyfriend) Karma is a god Karma is the breeze in my hair on the weekend (weekend) Karma's a relaxing thought.” As seen above, Taylor Swift alludes to the relationship between Kanye and her when they were dating. Many Taylor Swift fans believe that ‘Karma’ is written for Taylor Swift because of the recent downfall of Kanye West. More so, many fans would find all of this ironic in lieu of the recent loss of partnerships with Kanye and the increase in fans with Taylor due to a new album and tour release. Many would say that the correlation between the increased number of fans of Taylor Swift and the downfall of Kanye is shockingly uncanny. Furthermore, Kanye West has again taken the internet by surprise through hateful rhetoric, loss of partnerships, and the stark correlation between Taylor Swift’s new song ‘Karma’ and the recent losses Kanye West has endured.
